Mom`s Country Kitchen in Front Royal

Nice staff. However, it's so small there's no room to social distance. We went at a slow time but most tables were occupied. The staff wore masks but many of the customers coming in didn't.Mom's has taken steps to be safer by using single use condiments etc. They also seem to have recently redecorated so everything looks fresh and new.You'll have to decide what your personal risk tolerance is but that goes for eating out anywhere. Just saying, it's very small in there.For those who wonder, it's one of my friend's favorite breakfast places and she desperately wanted to go.However, she does have a number of health issues and so does her mother, who she lives with. I worry for them.

I go everytime I'm in Front Royal. Hitting it up tomorrow before Rural King.

Love this place! We stopped here for breakfast while enjoying a motorcycle ride through the countryside and national park. Great prices, great food, great service! It was packed the entire time we were there, which speaks for its popularity. We definitely plan to make this a regular place for us when passing through the area.

I tried Cracker Barrel and other breakfast places in Front Royal. Service is fast comparatively here, breakfast came out in minutes. The sausage gravy is the only one that comes close to good homemade gravy, not bland like other places.

I like this place a lot. theres a very nice air. The meals are wonderful. the service is efficient and the crew is well trained. The price is reasonable. deeply recommend.

It's an okay place to eat. The food isn't amazing, not even great. It's pretty average and bland, but if you're hungry it'll do. The waitresses are very kind and prompt so that's always a plus.

Everything was great the service was awesome the food was delicious. If we come back to skyline drive will definitely go back here to eat. Down home cooking.

I gave a 3 star review, the price was good, the Moms burger and French fries were good and the ham steake was good; I ordered a BLT and a salad. The BLT was cold and limp and they forgot to bring me my house salad. The service was not great. At the out we mentiomed to cold BLT and she took it of the bill.

Terrible lazy non-customer service waitresses! Food ok because they're only place local. Seltzer instead of sprite. Told the staff who was RUDE when I informed her! Dropped food to wrong guests then slapped the bill down on the table. Then when tip time, tried to be sweet....a*s!!!

We moved here five years ago from MI and finally found our favorite place to eat. Best food and best prices for miles. All the people who work there are so friendly and kind. We eat there at least once a week 🤗

Good food & friendly staff

Stopped by after visiting the caves, was a little out of the way, but very well worth it. Had an open faced hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, was delicious, just like mom used to make.

I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I have to say the service is always good and they keep the spot clean all the time. Rates are convenient and they serve generous portions.

Out of 5 visits to this restaurant the first 4 were awesome unfortunately after today's visit I will no longer be going back, the waitress was almost surely and the day's special was not what I received on my plate .So much for a good thing.If you are not a local I would not consider this restaurant.

My go to breakfast joint in Front Royal. Amazing staff...delicious food. Its where you go to see everybody. Always daily specials. Just the great all around diner experience whether its breakfast, lunch or supper. Dont forget dessert.

They don't have real mashed potatoes but its difficult to tell the difference. Love the hamburger steak. Editing....bc I'm starving right now and these guys close at 8pm. Way too early for Friday night.

When I need a good quick breakfast, I'll jump in here to the counter. They hustle here and put on a good solid plate of pancakes and bacon.

Great down home cooking. Everything we ate was good. Like the name says, it reminded me of Mom's cooking. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Little out if the way place that could be easily missed. Highly recommend.

Mom's Country Kitchen is just plain good food at a fair price. My family has been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The service is fast and always with a smile. This breakfast place is one of the few that offer snapple. Be sure to check the specials on the dry erase boards that change daily. Give them a try!
